Never Again.

You let me planned your 21st birthday and thereafter, just 3 days before the celebration, tell me that you are not going. You pushed the blame to everybody except yourself. I'm pissed cos I spent lots of effort, but you didnt appreciate and decided you are better off spending time with your friends. I even bought your present to surprise you on that day. Now I decided not to give it to you. Ya, I'm petty. But I'm really unhappy about your irresponsibility. You told me to cancel the reservation and I merely ask for your help to phone the restaurant as I was outside and do not have the number. You failed to do it and never even inform me. What a sister! You are not worth my effort.

I wont do that for you ever again! Never!

Standard Chartered Run & TCG's 23rd Birthday

Except for occasional stops at drink stations, I completed Standchart 10 km run without walking. That's the biggest accomplishment. But the timing isnt good.. 1hr38plus minutes. Gotta improve on that! But ever since after the run, I had stopped going for my weekly morning/evening jogs. There goes my healthy regime! Even my True Yoga membership has expired, and looking back, I realised I missed quite a number of weeks, til I lost count of them..

Met the guis for T.c.g's bday celebration after the run. I was hoping to catch a wink before meeting them, but there isnt enough time. In the end I met them with a giddy head and heavy eyelids. Barely had enough sleeps that week since I was suddenly very sia-ons at work, staying til late at night everyday.

I was walking with Xin in Marina Square when we came across bridal road show. Since Xin is getting tied down soon, and she needs her ROM gown asap, we sat down and talked to the sales person. It was my first time involved in such a thing, I found it so fun. While I flipped through the albums on exhibit and listened to Xin share her concerns with the sales person, I cant help feeling happy for her. Wedding is always such a happy affair. Although there might be problems surfacing now and then during the planning stage, I guess everything will flow smoothly when the date nears. So Xin, enjoy the process, although it may not be easy!

Celebrated Xia's birthday at Breeks ("Bridge" pronouced by the silly girl) with the JC class. Not full force as lots of people cant make it followed by a movie, Quarantined. I'm not a big fan of horror movies, but since it's a majority pick, I have to follow suit. But this is the last time I gonna watch horror movies.

I practically sleep at 3am everyday just to minimise my sleeping time. The moment I closed my eyes, I saw characters of the show. Freak me out!

Standard Chartered Run?

If you would ask me that, my respond would be, "never again!".

Just a day before the run, I have so many opinions about the event.

Firstly, for such an event open to the public, who would have thought of holding the race pack collection right at the end of the island, expecting people who stays in the other end to travel all the way just to collect a bag!

Secondly, the participants of such an event would mostly be working adults and having the collection held on thursday, friday and saturday limits most people to only collect the pack on Saturday. How can jams and long queues not be expected?

I had been asked: "Paying $50 just to run?" many times and I usually purge away this thought by telling myself that it should be well worth, given we would receive a running tee and probably enjoy the healthy experience along with the other participants. Well, I just received the tee and it's great disappointment. What's the point of asking for our desired sizes during registration when we cant even get what we specified in the end? Now, I have a tee with big arms holes for ventilation during the run tomorrow. How thoughtful!
