CurlsSs, I finally did it!

...after so many years of consideration.

________________________________________________

It had been the usual straight hair. Reasons being:

  1. I'm such a lazy person who wants easily manageable hair, and
  2. I'm not daring enough to try something different.
  3. Curls usually make girls look older, and worst, like an "auntie"!

But considering the fact that my hair has been giving me problems lately, I abandon all the above considerations.

I used to have super thick bangs and straight hair..

and I started growing fringe. (For once, I made some changes!)

Then it was somewhere between straight and curly hair.
And I got my curlsSs today...
This is the most expensive hairdo I ever had and I know Darlie is definitely gonna nag at me for this!

Father's Day

Didnt get anything for Dad as I'm really broke. All due to my selfish spending in GSS and atas food..

But I spent the day at RCC's family carnival with my family and relatives today. Owing to the 4oth anniversary celebration, all of us are entitled to tour the golf course in buggies on our own. This was one of the main reason why I attended this carnival. A buggy ride around the golf course made me drooling for golf lessons! Everything is so green~ Luckily, Dad suggested my sis and I take up golf courses. So I managed to get sponsorship for that! Can almost imagine myself swinging the golf club professionally on the golf course, liao.. Whahaha...

One BIG favour!

I happened to mention that I wanna watch the full SATC's episodes again to Darlie one fine day..

And he had secretly downloaded all the 6 seasons, burnt them into discs, and sent them all the way over from London to me, so that they can keep me entertained while he is away in Lithuania! How can I not praise him for being so thoughtful and nice!??!

Haven't receive such 'thoughtful' gifts from him for a long time. *appreciated*

Now I owe Darlie one BIG favour too!

Souffle: 2nd failed attempt

My love for souffle started off after King made me one on a Valentine's Day three year's ago..

My very first attempt to make one for him was during his birthday two years ago. Unfortunately, it was a failure.

I finally plucked up my courage to practise making one again.. To revive my one big dream..

Unfortunately, it was another failure...

I wonder what's wrong.. It always end up with the same result: a flaky sweet top with runny fillings. It never fail to rise, but it is always too wet. Sissy says it's the microwave oven's fault. I certainly hope so!

Someone who lives in your Heart

If there's one thing is the World

that I know it's true

It's the love I feel

when I'm thinking of you

...

All our hopes & dreams are alike

I'll carry you with me through distance in time

Nothing in this World can keep us apart

No one can take away someone

who lives in your heart.

CTG (Belated) Bday Celebration: Cocoa fiesta

31 May 08, Saturday The initial plan was to trek down Canopy Walk in the morning with the hope that we can burn a few calories to compensate for the finale Chocolate Buffet at Fullerton Hotel. Well, we ended up shopping in Marina Square due to bad weather.

We started posing for pictures again and that is when we realised the difference between a teethy smile and a no-teeth smile...

It's pretty obvious, the teethy smile is always the best bet. So girls, show your teeth everytime you see a camera.

It's pretty hard to gather everyone each time and I really appreciate it that Xin made it a point to squeeze us into her tight schedule for that day. That busy woman practically drag 2 big bags with her since her morning driving class - my text book and Xia's laptop.. Although it was only a few hours, it was great catching up.

A visit to The Chocolate Buffet at The Courtyard has been on our yearly resolutions ever since it was first introduced and this year, we managed to remove it from our list, tentatively.
For the desserts, combining a variety of fruits to the chocolate or vanilla base creates a sweet but refreshing after taste. Ironic to its theme, I personally prefer the vanilla-based desserts. Chocolate seems to take a back seat instead.
Perhaps due to an overdose of chocolates, we started to display unexplainable erratic behaviours like:

1. Hyper-activity

2. Self-destruction

3. Hallucination

4. and more hallucination..

We decided to end the day with a mid-night movie at Marina Square and some random picture-taking, again!

Happy Belated Birthday, CTG. We hope you had fun!
