A newfound love

It's keeping me hooked for hours on everything in the world.. fashion, hairstyles, weddings, accessories, interior designs.. It's freaking taking up most of my free time!

I'm so free anyways.

I had fun ;)

Back from my 2 weeks long holiday and I would say, I HAD FUN!!!

..although the course of backpacking had accumulated tremendous aches in the neck and shoulders and walking, walking and more walking had resulted in so much dead skin in my heels..

..hadn't had a good bath cos' I felt so uncomfortable in the shared toilets of the hostels..

But my "girlfriend" Darlie has been such good company despite my demanding complaints.. Thanks so much! *wink*

Cities Hopping I

Here I'm, just set foot on Prague. Had a wonderful night strolling along Charles Bridge with him. True to the words of others, Prague is really romantic - Paris in the East. :)

Back

and broke after the 1 week trip. Bangkok is undeniably a shopping paradise.

Phuket was a tad too boring for me. We practically spent the 3 days lying on the sun deck, swimming or watching dvds. We didnt go anywhere else cos' a trip out to Phi Phi island cost 900 baht! It might seemed rather affordable if converted to Sgd, but both of us wanted to save money for shopping in bkk.

First day in bangkok, we were like crazy, spent half of our total available baht! By the 2nd day, our baht was running low and had to withdraw more cash.

We managed to crash one of the clubs in bkk with Ting's Thai friends and the club was amazing. The washroom was so nicely furnished that I cant tell it is a washroom. It has a liveband in there with sofas to sit on, makeup room, smoking room blah blah blah, as big as a house that could live a big family. No wonder Ting and I made so many trips to the toilet!

Now I'm back, contented with my grabs and gains, but still craving for more papaya salad!

It's gonna be Heaven next week!

I'm heading Phuket & then Bangkok tomorrow!

It's my very first time travelling to a foreign country with Ting and I cant help wondering how it would turn out to be. Ting is definitely the great travel companion, given her pleasant personality. Plus! The tourism industry is what she is specialised in.

Can almost feel the fingers of my masseur pressing against my aching shoulders and kneading my tired legs. Then, my favourite Tom Yum Soup, Vermicelli Salad and Thai desserts waiting to be served. And the wild shopping that I would never missed. Awesome!

I'm all ready for a fun filled week in Thailand!

"Get buttered!"

Flashy tagline - Checked

Gorgeous people - Checked

Cool music - Checked

LJS popped in the Butter Factory last friday and WOW, we had fun altogether. I wasn't the clubbing sort, but I like to visit these places once in a while, to remind myself that my life isn't just about work..

Just the 3 of us, it was a girls-only party where we drank, played and danced, behind the blast of intensive loud music. S was at her high and J's face was glowing with perspiration after 3 hours at the dance floor. My toes were numb from dancing with my peep-toe heels. We left for home 3am in the morning with blood-shot eyes, tired legs and were partially deaf.

We queued for approximately half hour before getting in and the queue was long. But it was all well worth.

The Butter Factory - We like :)

Perth updates

My first day in Perth, weather looks superb. Except the wind got abit chilly. Day 3 The day the 3 girls went on a lunch during work. Had sandwiches, pie and muffin and finally got our hands on these pretty sweety little things. The office was some distance from the cafe. But we didnt mind taking a stroll since the flowers along the way appeal to the eye.
Day 4: Took our chance during lunch to King's Park. We had been comtemplating about going there since day 1 as the office is right next to King's Park but still a distance to walk (with the heels). Fortunately our client offered to give us a lift there.
Day 6: Took a tour to Swan Valley which costs us A$98. Comes with 5 vineyards visit, including wine tasting, chocolate company and nougat factory. The girls were all expecting a "valley" (literally) but it didnt turn out the way it sounds.
Our 1st vineyard..
2nd vineyard
3rd vineyard, and that cute salesman..
The wine with gold flakes in it. Cost a bomb too!
Our super healthy lunch, made me feel like a rabbit! But now I know raw carrots are so nice to bite!
Mondo Nougats factory
Mash Brewery, for beer
Chocolate company.

We were too obsessed with the chocolates above we forgot about the chocolate tasting below. We were each entitled a free chocolate of our choice below, but by the time we finished what we had on our hands, the tour guide finished giving out the chocolates. Those chocolate drops pale in comparison with those below, seriously..

Our last day in Perth

1. Gone to the Cottlesloe beach in the morning

2. Went Fremantle Market (the one that everybody say is a "must go")

3. Went Cecerelos' for fish & chips

4. ... and finally left for home.

Where I named a Food Paradise

It's none other than Hong Kong..

Day 1: Eating & shopping.

The long awaited visit to Fa Ji. Ting has been telling me how nice the durian soup is and I finally had the chance to try. We ordered everything with durian on the menu!
Durian mochi
Durian Pancake Durian Pastry
I was too busy indulging in the durian soup, I forgot to snap a picture of it.
Day 2: Went on a day tour
We had dinner at the Modern Toilet cafe, which after my first visit, decided it was over-hyped. The food taste bad. We even saw some people making faces as they chew on the food.
Day 3: Macau
Love eating desserts in Hong Kong!
Day 4: Tung Chung Station for Big Buddha & Shopping
People with passion and determination
The big Buddha
Learnt to appreciate tea ;)

Hong Kong.. I'll miss their dumpling noodles.
